At A Glance: The Associação de Solidariedade Subud was first developed in the early 1980s to support the adaptation and integration of families from former Portuguese colonies, many of whom were excluded from mainstream society. This included the creation of Roda Vida, which is an educational and community project designed to meet their needs in the Alfragide region of Lisbon.
Goals: Administer a program designed for children and young people aged between 4 months and 25 years, which includes a nursery and preschool, after-school activities and a youth program. Oversee an Integrated Support Centre that provides families with medical care, counselling and social aid.
