SD Congo

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) one out of six children dies before the age of five, mainly from easily preventable illnesses. Susila Dharma Congo, as a legally constituted Congolese non-governmental organization active in the development of local communities through education, health and agricultural activities, has stepped into the national arena to propose solutions for communities made highly vulnerable by the lack of health services.

In the DRC all projects are assisted by Susila Dharma Congo which administers international grants and reports to funders overseas. SD Congo also coordinates monitoring and evaluation visits and organizes capacity development events for SDIA members and other NGOs. The Community Health Centers are managed entirely by SD Congo.
