SD Indonesia

Susila Dharma Indonesia is a non-governmental organization founded in 1988 to coordinate and support social and humanitarian projects. SD Indonesia believes in ‘one united humanity.’ The organisation cooperates with religious, governmental, non-profit, and community groups to provide health, education, child welfare, emergency relief, and community development services.
Based in Jakarta, SD, Indonesia has been active in emergency relief and recovery following several natural disasters, including the 2005 tsunami in Aceh, the Yogyakarta earthquake, and severe flooding in Jakarta.
SD Indonesia has coordinated with UNOCHA (United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs) and received funding from the Japan National Council for Social Welfare to provide micro-credit grants and training to survivors of natural disasters.
