In the DR Congo one out of six children die before the age of five, mainly from easily preventable illnesses. Susila Dharma Congo, as a legally constituted Congolese non-governmental organization active in the development of local communities through education, health and agricultural activities, has stepped into the national arena to propose solutions for communities made highly vulnerable by the lack of health services.
